Description
Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond hosts the 4th annual professional ice dance performance on the outdoor ice rink on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3 pm. Spectators position themselves around the perimeter fence so all have a front-row view (limited seating is available).  Produced by Founding Artistic Director Douglas Webster of Ice Dance International, an ensemble ice dance company, the performance again features international skating champions who will perform a show of company repertory called “Winter Ice Dances.” “This is an exciting opportunity to see incredible Olympic-level skating up close and to meet the stars in person,  including US Men’s Champion Ryan Bradley, Olympian Beata Handra, and other IDI company members who work on the world stage,” said Webster. “This year’s dynamic and theatrical skating performance includes Edward Villella’s “Three Smokers” and Douglas Webster’s “Nocturnes” and “After the Rain.”  Several local skaters who recently placed at the US Nationals will also perform. ” The show is sanctioned by US Figure Skating. The ice shows are sponsored by Bank of America, Dos Amigos, Jumpin' Jay's Fish Cafe and a grant from the New England Foundation for the Arts. The show lasts 30 minutes. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for children (aged 5-17); $40 for family (2 adults/2 children). Children under 5, free. Strawbery Banke members receive a 20% discount. Tickets include skating (skate rentals are an additional $5 per person). VIP tickets that include the opportunity to meet the skating stars after the show for photos and autographs are $22 for adults, $18 for children.

Strawbery Banke Museum
Strawbery Banke Museum, in the heart of historic downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is an authentic 10-acre outdoor history museum dedicated to bringing 300+ years of American history in the same waterfront neighborhood to life. The Museum is a place for children, adults, multigenerational families, and groups to gather to explore eight heritage gardens, 32 historic buildings, and traditional crafts, preservation programs, hands-on activities, the stories told by costumed role-players and the changing exhibits that offer hours of fun and discovery. The Museum's restored buildings and open space invite visitors to immerse themselves in the past, using objects from the museum's collection of 30,000 artifacts, and the histories of the families who lived and worked in the Puddle Dock neighborhood to engage, educate, and entertain.
